TabScribe

Guitar video → tab + notation

Heard a riff in a reel?
Get it on paper.

Paste a link or upload a clip. You get tab and notation you can play along with, and every note is marked by how sure TabScribe is, so you know what to double-check by ear.

How it works

  1. Step 1: Paste a link or upload

An Instagram reel, a YouTube video or Short, a TikTok, or your own file. Clips up to 3 minutes.

  2. Step 2: It listens, then checks the video

Notes and timing come from the audio. When the fretting hand is visible, the video confirms the string and position. It never invents notes.

  3. Step 3: Play along, loop, export

Slow it down, loop a bar, re-finger for a capo or drop tuning, then export MusicXML, MIDI, PDF or plain-text tab.

Accuracy, honestly

A strong first draft, not a finished transcription.

Clean, solo guitar comes out well. Electric guitar, dense strumming, distortion and backing tracks are harder, and you will fix more notes by ear. The tints on the score show you where.
